Just a quick post of a card made for my brother Dave's birthday. My girlfriend found this stamp at a garage sale this summer and knew I would like it - little did she know my brother has or had a truck very similar to this (he lives in Virginia so I do not know what he currently drives)! The truck stamp is by PSX and has been colored with pencils. The word stamp has decided to hide somewhere in this mess and will not come out until I have picked up so I can not tell you who makes it! The wood grain paper is labeled Wood Strips but I do not see a company's label.
It is warm out today! The ice is melting on the roof- Yeah! And speaking of brothers, my brother John came by Wednesday and got up on the dormer and chopped and shoveled because of leaking into the house- ugh. My kitchen ceiling is ugly now - that is a whole-nother story I will talk about someday- can not think of it now - it is too depressing. Another roofer tells me the roof is fine, it is because of the ice and the melting snow backs up into the house but sometime we are going to have to find a solution to this! It did this about 4 or 5 years age also. It is only a problem when we get a winter like this! Thank goodness for my brother for going up there - our 24 ft ladder would not reach and I doubt we would have gone up anyway- that seems to scary! John is a roofer and thinks nothing of it! Talk about a lousy winter, he lives 2 hours northwest of here in the Adirondacks and has had a ton of snow (but not much ice thank goodness). He drives down here to work less than 2 miles from me- Can you imagine a 4 hour per day commute? Wow! Anyway, thank goodness for brothers!

OOF!!! roofing shenanigans are nothing to laugh about! do hope all will be well on that front!
on the other hand, clearly all is ALREADY well on the crafting front, to judge by said awesome brotherly greeting card!!!
