I was in the mood to do some paper piecing this weekend and here are the results. I have been planning to use this fabulous printed book page that Lauren sent a while ago- Isn't it cool! I am making the assumption it is Japanese (same assumption about the stamps!). And before you wonder, the corner pieces in the ladies having tea are all differing sizes on purpose! I am unsure if these will be turned into cards or put in mini frames- I like the result just haven't decided if the frames would look good in my house. I love the circle paper that I framed these with and have no idea whether it fits the traditional style but I like it and somehow that is all that matters!
Stamps: Tea Ladies-Hidden World Rubber Stamps ($1.00 at a garage sale!), Parasol lady-Inkadinkado
Inks: Su Basic Black
Paper: Vintage Japanese book page-Lauren, Circles K&Company, Robes-Deja Views,, 7 Gypsies, and one more scrap I can not identify, Marco's Cougar off white, misc brown scraps
Misc: Cardbboard to mount the frames, Nestabilities, colored pencils (yes, my hi-tech crayolas!), a sanding file by CTMH- love this- it was a Christmas gift!

Ok I have done everything possible, except clean of course, to avoid finishing the taxes but now I must get back to it so I can get to filing the FASFA form for college. Paperwork- ugh! Perhaps I should instead work on some scrapbook pages... or some challenges..., or catch up with some comments (yes, I know I am behind) or take a nap.......
