I have had this stamp for a couple of years now and have never inked it up! Can you imagine that (yes, I am sure you can - we all seem to acquire more than we get time to use!). Anyway, I purchased it at a garage sale and it has been sitting ever since to inspire me and waiting for the perfect idea to strike. Today I went to an estate sale where I purchased a pile of these journal book papers ($1.00 for all!) and boom- inspiration. (I wish there were actual handwritten numbers on some of the pages instead of all blank books- that would be awesome!) I love the contrast of the rigid numbers and lines with the creative verse of the Judi Kins stamp. And see I did use my imagination- I cut acetate sheets (another garage sale purchase) with my sizzix die and colored it with my copics- I LOVE the effect. See thru but with color. Cool...

I understand the "stamp sitting unused" and the "garage sale inspiration"! Both worked great here on your neat looking card.
Oh my goodness, this is outstanding! What a great idea to use the ledger pages for a background. Fabulous mix of colors and elements..... this rocks!
