What happens when you goof up coloring? If you are me, and too cheap to throw anything away, you crop and cover. I will call this technique, CAC (Crop and Cover), for short as I am sure it will catch on.!
The tulip pix was a bit of a disaster when I was playing with my copics, two tulips completely bled and looked awful and no amount of fixing would remedy that, plus I was experimenting (rather unsuccessfully ) with colors, so I took an oval nestability, cropped the pix quite small, used a printed scallop mat next to extend the tulip feel out and just kept matting. I threw the large ribbon on to add to the distraction. I was pleased with the outcome although I could not capture the softness of the purple colors in the photo. Just one more note - the copics bled badly because I was not using the correct paper - this seems to be a problem when I try to layer a lot of color or use deep colors!

ok, i've SEEN this stamp...so i *know* how much you cropped...BUT...there is know way i would've known if i hadn't known. seriously. the scallops coordinate so well...and look so COOL...it seems like you must've planned all along to use everything exactly as is!!!
(CAC...gonna sweep the nation FOR SURE...but mebbe we should call it C&C...since "cack" sounds a bit "furbally" kwim?) :)
