Card Patterns Sketch 21 Blue Birthday

Card Patterns, sketch 21. This card came together beginning with the book page. An odd place to start I know but I often start in odd places and say- now what can I do with this??? The book page came from an estate sale and has wonderful pictures of foreign stamps and postmarks- a myriad of possibilities!!!! It is backed with a vintage page of lined paper and then some decorative airmail paper with a lovely deckled edge. Do they even make airmail paper anymore? I seem to remember many- ahem- years ago - when it was a big deal to send a letter overseas. Now that our world is so small- thanks to the internet - we send cards all over and as for using that skimpy airmail paper, well not so much! I digress, The flowers are prima and spellbinders, the ribbon colorbok (I think the striped paper is as well but am not sure), the solid blue SU, MM brads, rub on by K & Co.

Debb this is wonderful! I love that old book page you used. What a great touch! The blue & cream combo is so soothing. So glad you could play along with us on CP.
